⚠️ Zero Tolerance: To protect all users, any violation of account credentials, seat sharing restrictions, or seat configuration tampering will result in immediate seat revocation without refund eligibility.
To ensure consistent quality, high availability, and licensing compliance for every active customer, LightningDeals enforces this Acceptable Use Policy. These rules apply to all digital subscription access slots, workspace invite links, and user credentials supplied through our distribution services.
1. Absolute Access Restrictions
When you purchase a subscription seat or shared workspace slot, you receive specific access privileges configured for your personal or private professional use. You agree to adhere to the following strict boundaries:
- No Credential Sharing: You must never share your allocated account username, password, or direct authentication cookies with any third party. Access is limited strictly to a single individual per slot purchased.
- No Account Re-packaging or Resale: Sublicensing, renting, re-selling, or commercially distributing access details or seat invitations provided by our team is strictly prohibited.
- No Password Modification: On shared-access profiles, you must **never change the account password**, billing details, profile names, or email configurations. Doing so restricts other paying users on that corporate license pool and is treated as account theft.
- No Workspace Invite Leakage: Workspace and team invitations (e.g., Canva team links, Notion workspace invites) are single-use per buyer email. Sharing these invite links online or with colleagues who have not paid for a slot will trigger an automatic security lock on the underlying corporate license pool.
2. System Integration & Fair Usage Limits
Because the slots represent volume corporate seats, excessive bandwidth or bot-like abuse can flag the license pool for review by the underlying software vendor. To prevent this:
- Automated Scraping Prohibited: You must not run automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or high-volume scripts on the active seats unless the specific developer subscription explicitly allows and exposes a formal API (e.g., OpenAI API tokens purchased separately).
- Fair Use Allocation: Shared cloud workspaces must be utilized responsibly. Storing, uploading, or distributing extreme volumes of non-work-related files or system backups that saturate shared storage limits is prohibited.
- Content Regulations: You agree not to use the digital seats to generate, compile, or distribute illegal, hateful, copyrighted, or malicious material. This includes violating the direct product policies of the underlying developer (e.g., using AI generators to produce CSAM, malware, or targeted disinformation).
3. Monitoring, Gating, and Enforcement
LightningDeals and our corporate license managers monitor backend seat logins, invite usage statistics, and IP logs strictly for fraud detection, load management, and abuse prevention. If a violation is flagged:
- Immediate Suspension: The affected access credentials or invite links will be deactivated immediately.
- Anti-Abuse Gating: The offending user's customer account on our storefront will be locked. Any remaining active subscription slots under that customer's email/WhatsApp will be reviewed and may also be locked to protect network integrity.
- No Refund Remedy: Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy fully invalidate the Replacement Warranty and render the user ineligible for cash or store-credit refunds.
4. Contact for Reporting Violations
If you suspect another user is tampering with a shared seat, or if you accidentally click a setting that alters account credentials, please report it immediately to our WhatsApp desk so we can restore access cleanly:
